micampus residencies was a very particular project we worked on since our main objective was to give it an empathetic and sensitive approach. This property aims to receive and welcome young people, either students or those who decide to leave their family houses for the first time. Therefore, we designed a place that would make its residents feel at a cozy familiar environment and at the same time encourage them to connect with their adventurous spirit and engage in this new stage in their lives.

micampus was designed to become a new chosen home for its residents and also act as a bridge towards new experiences and achievements. This is why, after a thorough investigation on user’s experience, we developed spaces that make residents feel identified, supported and protected. Especially thinking about new technologies, co-learning and interactions in the digital era, we named our common areas in an alluring and fun way.

At every stage, the creative process was strongly influenced by the importance of taking sensitivity into account in order to design spaces full of spirit built with the objective of increasing the well- being of its users and improving their quality of life.

Innovative design and creativity were the keys to achieve success and provide the users with a unique experience. Around ninety percent of the furniture was designed specifically for this project. Colours, textures, materials, multi functionality and flexibility were very important to create an atmosphere that made residents feel comfortable and represented by the place they inhabit.
